Do you find that your computers are running slower and slower? Most may choose to re-install their systems, and to re-install a large number of applications as well, which cost a lot of time and energy. In fact, it is unnecessary to do so much tough work. Here are some tips for you to speed up your computer without re-installing your system.

First, shut down the special effect in your system properties.

Click "Start"> "Panel Control" > "Performance and Maintenance" >"System" > "Advance" > "Performance" > "Setting", in the "visual effect", you can choose "best performance" then click "OK". This is the easiest way that can speed up computer as well as improve your interface.

And, when encountering "error program" and hard to close down some stop-responding applications automatically, you can also handle them in the HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Control Panel/Desktop in the "Registry Editor".
a. You can change "HungAppTimeout" to 200 which mean you need to wait for half of a second when the system appears "error program".
b. You can change "AutoEndTasks" to 1 so that the system may shut down the application which stops responding.
